Happy Easter!

We have had a lot of fun the past few weeks. We celebrated my birthday and had a great Easter weekend.

Eedie's hair is now long enough for a little ponytail.

We found this trike at the park. They both loved riding around on it. I had to push them because they couldn't reach the pedals.

It has begun....I went in to get Eedie one morning, and found her with her pants and diaper off... and pee all over the bed.
She finally made it! We told her if she could go #2 in the TOILET ten times, then she could have a princess dress. It only took about a month and a half but she did it!

There was an Easter Egg Hunt on base the Saturday before Easter. When they said "Go," this is what Annabelle did. She only ended up with 4 eggs and only because some friends from church handed her three of them. I think we need to do a trial run next year.

We ended the sugar fast on my birthday. A few ladies from church actually had a little get-together for my birthday. We had some great cheesecake that day! We had this cake a couple days later. Our friend Tricia, from church, makes awesome cakes. This one was white cake with strawberry filling.

Two kids from the dental clinic had a joint birthday party this weekend. The theme was "Yo Gabba Gabba." Here's Eedie trying on her hat.

And Annabelle.

The cute cakes.

Eedie with the pinata before he was beaten to death.

Playing "hot potato." Annabelle didn't really get it. I had to help her a little.

She was loving the hats.

About to be busted open.

We had a TON of candy this year. One of my best friends, Audrey, from Kentucky sent us a lot of goodies and treats. My parents also sent some stuff. I had also bought candy earlier not knowing anyone was going to send stuff. I don't even think we put any of the candy we bought, out in the baskets.

This little rabbit that Audrey sent, lost one of his eyes. We called him, Devil Bunny. =)

So excited for all the stuff the Easter Bunny brought.

We told them Aunt Audrey and NeNe and Pappy sent candy to the Easter Bunny to put in their baskets.

Eedie has become quite the sugar addict. Hmmm... I wonder where she got that. Almost all she ate Easter day was CANDY!

We spent the day with our friends, the Ropers. We watched some of General Conference, had an Easter Egg hunt, and then had some lunch.

Annabelle and Summer finding eggs.

Eedie found lots of eggs!

We had a pretty great Easter Day. The cheery blossoms are starting to appear, so we may be trying to hit up one of the festivals they have going on to celebrate.

Til next time...

  1. They are getting so big. Especially Annabelle! Looks like Easter was a blast. Your Bday present is in the mail so hopefully you get it before too long. Love and miss you all! (cheery blossoms - couldn't let that one go - I bet they are very cheery though.)
