Marvin's visit #2 - Hinohara Waterfall

Mike's dad, Marvin, came out for a visit with his friend Kathy this month. We didn't end up doing too much since Mike had to work for part of their stay. But here are some things we did while they were here.

Annabelle and Eedie have become quite tech savvy.

We saw these beetles at Joyful Honda. They were about the size of a woman's hand!

Eedie loves to scream as high as she can.

 We went to Hinohara Waterfall, which is only about 35 minutes from the base.

She jumped into the water and got pretty soaked, luckily we brought a change of clothes. I couldn't believe how into it she was. Annabelle was actually pretty scared and wouldn't even put her feet in.

We went at a good time as we avoided this huge group of kids coming up as we were going down.

We kept driving through the mountains after we stopped at the falls. We found this bus... Bluegrass Bus Corporation Tokyo Japan! I was trying to do a thumbs up, but it looks like I'm trying to hitchhike.

These Japanese people hiked a ways up the hill, got here, started to stretch and then didn't even check out the great view! Weird! The Japanese are really into getting up and moving throughout their day.

We had Yakinuku one night at a local restaurant. This is probably my favorite Japanese food so far.

Eedie turned 18 months while they were here which means... she started nursery at church! This was her after her first day.

And here I am... 28 weeks!

Next up: Tokyo outing.
