Thanksgiving Week

It hasn't really seemed much like the Holidays until the past couple of days. The weather has still been somewhat mild here, but this week it got a little cooler and we celebrated Thanksgiving. Some of the Japanese stores even have Christmas decorations and American Christmas music playing! 

Family Home Evening Treat: Pocari Sweat.  Yes, that is sweat, as in body sweat. The label reads, "Pocari Sweat is a healthy beverage that smoothly supplies the lost water and electrolytes during perspiration. With the appropriate density and electrolytes, close to that of HUMAN BODY FLUID, it can easily be absorbed into the body." Mike wonders, which body fluid they are talking about. =)

There was a dental clinic Thanksgiving luncheon. Eedie loves Thanksgiving food, especially yakisoba noodles. Yes, Japanese food is fair game at a Thanksgiving luncheon.

I forgot to take a picture of the pies. Becky made a Derby pie and I made a pumpkin pie. I also made these cookies for the kids.

We went out to Tama Hills this weekend. It is a big recreational area for the military with paintball, horseback riding,  and other stuff. Mike went to play paintball with some people from the dental clinic. We tagged along. It was a little chilly. Here's Eedie all bundled.

I couldn't get a good picture because of the fence, but they had these inflatables all over the course to hind behind.

We found this sign on the way home. We are not sure what it is sign for, but we thought it looked pretty cool. 

They had some live trees shipped over to the base. We went on Saturday to get ours. This tree is about the perfect size! Here is Annabelle hanging up an ornament in her favorite outfit. =)

Here she is. I realized it's hard to get a good picture of a lit Christmas tree.
